And why does she cry? Because we can’t control our desires.
Now, I know that there’s a number of contributing factors towards our desire for the things that we haven’t got. One of the main factors in our decision to want what we haven’t got is our own reason not to have it.
And if I haven’t got a good reason not to have it, why should I not have what I want?
Is it not my life to live it how I feel?
To live by my own instinctives on what is going to make me happy?
And this is the problem. The only reason your instincts would tell you not to have what you want is fear.
The same reason why a hungry animal will stop eating and a thirsty animal will stop drinking.
Fear. Without this fear we lose our need of awarness for whats going on around us.
Without that awareness of what is going on around us we lose the connection and understanding needed to feel apart of the world around you, thus in-turn we lose the sense of our impact and influence on the world around us.
This then leaves us with no fear for the consequences of our actions on the world as a whole, giving us no reason to not have what we want. Even when what we want is the last thing we need.
